I don't think it looks like the red tail picture. Check out the hood and eyes far apart. Cold peregrine all puffed up keeping warm. Eyes and wings are not like a red tail. Where was the bird?

I was down on Saturday morning and got to see both adults flying and perched on 101 Hudson. Hopefully the building tenants will name the birds this year. I want to name our hospital bird Rocky because he is such a fighter. The birds are 42 floors up and I am two blocks away using my SLR with 300 Prime lens, no teleconverter.

Our eyas has splayed legs and is getting treatment. There is hope that it will have some kind of falcon life. When Kathy was taking it on Saturday we expected the worst. So this was very good news to hear.
The other two eyases remain healthy with one being the bully and always taking the food first. No one will mess with her when she grows up.
