Yikes. One of the problems with water St. High winds. The box is protected. I knew there had to be another hatch. Jubilee is one great mom and rocky is one great dad.

And does that overhang protect her from the rain and snow?  Looks like it.  I bet Quest and Kendal are thrilled with their new digs.

Just checked.  Two hatchlings!!  I knew it!  When I couldn't get on the site yesterday afternoon, I suspected a lot of people were watching.  Last year they all hatched within 24 hours.

I have everything crossed for Quest, Kendall, Harlequinn the egg and a warmer nest box.

Found the right place.  We can only keep our fingers crossed. 

Sounds like they better get something up right away or all the eggs will be lost.  Where is the post about the lost egg?

What a riveting and thrilling report to learn thst Quest is in Toronto of all places and she is near nesting!  And the tracking equipment is still on her.

The Lakota Wolves are at Camp Taylor in Columbia, New Jersey.  The compound was set up specifically for photographers and visitors.  I paid a chunk of change and went with one other person for two and a half hours.  The compound has a double fence and the inside fence has portals for photographing the wolves.  Of course, our guide was there throwing treats over the fence.  The wolves are used to the drill and we were told if there are no photographers, they begin howling after 15 minutes to get someone to come.

I had a great time photographing the wolves at the campground where we used to be seasonals many years ago.  Enjoy!!
