Any idea why there's such a time lag on ustream between the main cam and the 4-pak?

Beauty returned quickly, at 6:46, but Archer was having none of it!

Got a screen capture of the eggs... they weren't uncovered very long! On CAM 1, that's Beauty flying out, between the camera and Archer!

When Archer switched in, I thought he looked tiny compared to the dry spot.

Beauty was able to keep a large area around them dry, but the dry spot is even bigger than she is.

306  Rochester Falcons / Rfalconcam Now / Sorry, Archer switched in, too! on: 17-May-11, 06:23:18 AM

whatever are those 2 talking about????

Probably similar to Beauty and Archer...

"It's my turn now!"

"No, go away!"

Fortunately, neither of them is sporting the drowned rat aesthetic! Cheesy

I can't see it in the picture, but it looks like there are still ruffled feathers - is the transmitter still on?

Very eerie yet beautiful pics if you look at camera 4 shots now.  Around 8:40.  Thank goodness the heavy rain has stopped, but still ugly out.  Yet this picture is pretty.

Isn't it funny - the radar shows no rain, and yet cam 4 makes it look like it's pouring!

"Don't even think you're staying in there, Archer!"

All accounted for.

!!! Yahoo, we have a hatch!!!!
May 16, 2011 - Windsor - Ambassador Bridge
Dennis Patrick Reports:

Well, the waiting is over, Dennis and I definitely saw at least one chick yesterday afternoon on the nest site. Voltaire was on the nest site while Freddie was sitting on the ledge, in seconds Voltaire flew off the nest and back again with food and started to feed a chick. We were there for about two hours, after Voltaire was done feeding the chick, she took out the garbage while Freddie stayed on the nest ledge. Thank you to Mark from CPF for being so happy for us in Windsor knowing that we finally have a hatch. Now we wait for a banding day date. Gwen & Dennis

315  Rochester Falcons / Rfalconcam Website News / Thank you to everyone who did such a fantastic job... on: 16-May-11, 09:41:49 AM
working on all the wiring for the cameras up in and around the nest box! clap clap clap 2thumbsup

(Next time you do an outdoor maintenance project, I think most of us have a request for a non-toxic fix for the roof! Beauty did a fantastic job of protecting the precious cargo, but she must have a crick in her neck from shaking off all the water dropping on her head!)

The last two days have shown what a superior job you all did keeping everything else weatherproof! Lots and lots of rain and nasty winds, and yet we still are able to watch!  2thumbsup

You all are awesome!  bow bow bow
