Speaking of Mariah, does anyone know if they weighed her while she was in rehab? I've often wondered how the year off from raising a brood affected her weight and overall health.

I knew this was going to happen...Archer's already having a tough time keeping the eggs under him and he only has 3 to deal with right now!

This sitting and not doing a lot is hard work...I'm glad he's getting lots of practice in! During this brood preseason, he's probably stretched some muscles he didn't know he had. If he keeps at it, might just be in game shape come true brood season!

Is there such a thing as a fantasy falcon league? We know they're good at drafting... and scoroaring...

Yes, because he's about a third smaller than the female. Beauty seems to be on the large side for a female (I've read that the watchers think she is bigger than Mariah was when M was in Rochester), so the difference  really is striking.

I'm sorry that I can't find who did the comparison photo originally - it really is a nice photo comparison, so virtual karma to the creator.

I know it's because of whatever's on the back wall of the nest box, but doesn't it look like there's another falcon in the back of the box, facing out, eye closed, as if talking in Beauty's ear?
