I want one!! Cute, perfect for DT!!
OMG me too! "Will you be able to fly after your rehab?" Yes Margaret I will, why do you ask? I flew to Arkansas for the holidays after my first knee replacement, remember? LOL, MAK......think Margaret meant to ask if rehab would "give you back your WINGS so you could FLY" along with Beauty.

Violet could be given a chance to live. A 12 year old peregrine, Zephyr, living wild in South Bend, Indiana with only one foot, adequately provides for himself and his family. If Zephyr can kill and feed himself, then Violet should be able to do the same since Violet would be hunting ground prey rather than prey on the wing. I am so praying Violet's "good" foot can be healed so she can have a chance to live.

It is possibly that her weight is keeping her from standing & walking. She seems to have the desire to "help". I suggest you make a sling from a beach towel or bed sheet to hoist up her middle. leaving her legs free to "walk". If a person "carried " her weight with the sling, she might be able to get outside to take care of business. Lucky you.... she is a female and the sling won't get in the way of her relieving herself. Your best bet is to help her move, at 70 pounds, it will be unlikely anyone could lift her to put her in a wagon, wheelbarrow, etc. Good luck.
