What are they doing for this baby??  The pigeon people use a product called SPARTRIX and the pigeons with very bad trich are cleaned up in a few days.

I will never believe a watcher, or a rescuer, or a rehabber will stand by and let a peregrine chick drown without trying to rescue it. A silly regulation will not stop them from doing what is right. They rescue anything they see, be it a peregrine, a pigeon, a sparrow, .....Good Heavens, I have even known them to rescue human beings and God knows there is no shortage of those critters.

Quest was in her nestbox from 4.15PM EDT and remained sheltered inside the box during the thunderstorm and rain. She lingered at the nest after the rain until 7.56PM.  I hope her family found shelter also.

They are saying it is rain on weather channel but it is scarry

Quest is sitting on the nest ledge now......

Quest must know where Kimani is cause she relaxed at the nest ledge from 8.27 until 10.50 this morning.
She did not look worried.

And FYI.... RheaMae has been hanging out at her nest ledge since 3PM and she doesn't look worried either so she must know where her kids are.

For about the past hour, I have seen only one eyas on the ledge, even when an adult visited at 2PM.... a few minutes ago, only one eyas appeared. 

Baby was biting Quest's toes and Quest was trying to up-chuck a pellet so she moved to the skinny ledge.
There will be no peace for Mama now!!!

Luna was the first to leap @ 9.50AM EDT and is the most active. Kimani jumped to the ledge @ 9.51AM right after her sister, but Carina was hesitant and went for it @ 9.59AM.  They are loving their new space.

 

with a closer look, I see it is Beauty's bloody foot that has the band.....thought it was a red foot of the pigeon...LOL

On the archives cam 4 @ 1.04, it looks like there are bands on that prey.

Have I read somewhere that Surge and Madame X are Pigott's parents???
It is nagging at me but I can't remember where I read that.
