Rough weather today for Hera and Mintaka, and the egglets of course!

The Lady is remarkable this year - 4 eggs!  Her male companion has proven to be a good fish provider, so feeding that many should be no problem.  First hatch expected around the last week of May.   

Just checked the blog for Loch, and the Lady now has THREE eggs!!  The 3rd arrived early morning on 4-24.   

The Lady has a 2nd egg now, arrived overnight.  This is her 66th lifetime egg.

As of Monday, April 8, Woodmen has 5 eggs!   

We have one egg in the box as of today!  Happy Easter indeed.

Thanks, nice to see Kentucky installed this.  Good camera angle, too. 

She is that, Bobbie!  I wish we had some spotters down in Spain and France, who would keep an eye out for last year's little one.  I'm hoping that only his transmitter has failed and he's enjoying the fishing there.

Cam back up, and she's on the nest - looks comfy.  I saw earlier when they were zoomed in on her head, and it definitely looks like Lady.  The male has appeared and Ranger Emma said he was comfortable with her and they mated.  I'm ready to yell YIPPEE! 

It is disturbing that Woodmen cams don't show the bands clearly, and I'm as sad about the apparent loss of Zeus as I am about Archer.  The good news is Hera was just working on scraping in the east box, and you can see the depression pretty clearly.

I would think the new male will be ID'd soon, since somebody posted a pic of his bands and they are a bit clearer to read:  looks like black or green 3 over red A on left, and the purple band on right.

Gives a whole new meaning to the term 'pet rock'!
