We have a winner! With 23% of the votes, the name you chose to give to a 2020 eyas is...

Roc.

The name was submitted by John Hoffman of Honeoye Falls, NY.

John writes, "Roc is not just a play on the falcons' city of birth. The Roc is an enormous legendary bird of prey in the Middle Eastern tradition. The book One Thousand And One (Arabian) Nights includes tales about the Roc. Marco Polo also reported on the legendary bird."

Congratulations, John, and thank you to everyone who submitted a name this year.
