When I saw the tweet "Injured Falcon" my heart skipped a beat!  :o

I just read it on Twitter too and my heart sank! Glad they helped the Kestrel!

The hospital's wildlife center sees around 20 kestrels a year, in addition to hawks, owls, and even the occasional peregrine falcon – a Rochester favorite, which are known to nest atop the iconic Kodak Tower and Times Square Building.   :2thumbsup:

While the wildlife rehabilitation center is partially funded through donations, a majority of the operating and nursing costs end up being covered by the hospital. But for Balonek, the welfare of the animals is more important than turning a profit. *Well said

"It doesn't generate income, but it does generate goodwill," he said.   :heart:
