Title: A question... Post by: Bobbie Ireland on 16-Oct-15, 08:21:10 AM Do Pefas only hunt for prey on the wing? That is, would they ever go to ground to get something like a chipmunk, rat etc.? Here, our Buzzards will forage on the ground for bugs and beetles, and I know raptors like owls and kestrels will hunt ground prey, but am wondering what happens with the Falcons. Ta!

Or pluck a duckling out of the water!! :( (We have seen videos of Pefas going after ducks in the water) Or Big Frankie eating a Duck on the ground. Title: Re: A question...
