I love Cape Cod. It has been a part of my imagined idyll since I read The Outermost House. Your photographs of the humpback whales are outstanding! Acadia has long been on my list.

I remember Thunder hole and feeding seagulls on the rocks. Truly a magnificent and memorable place. I used to go to Cape Cod to visit relatives. Another great place. Thanks for sharing your memories and rekindling mine! :clap:

Ticonderoga is a cable ferry.

I've been going to Cape Cod for the last 13 years. Stay for 2 weeks. Where on the Cape did you go. I stay in North Eastham. Coast Guard beach is there, rated 8th best in the USA. We spent an afternoon at Coast Guard Beach during this vacation and have done the same during previous trips to Cape Cod. It is a very nice beach.
