Patti, we only had about 3 weeks of Summer, :sunshine: with heat and humidity...we only put our air in at the beginning of August....last year was in May......very very strange Summer for sure. Electric bills are down.. We had more :rain: than ever. Oh well suppose to be a brutal Winter according to the farmers Almanac... :chriscat: if you believe in it. Oh boy. Ok, we did turn the AC on in June and off for a week in July and have had it off for the last week, but we avoided the traditional 'jungle-like' conditions that we usually see here. Of course, we spent a good chunk of the summer in areas other than the Chesapeake Bay, but it was still decent - even with the rain.
