Enjoy the last Hurrah of the Summer

Wait a minute...summer's over?  I missed it entirely!  We skipped summer this year in Kentucky...no stifling heat and humidity...I'm hoping we don't skip fall and go straight to winter.

Patti, we only had about 3 weeks of Summer, sunshine with heat and humidity...we only put our air in at the beginning of August....last year was in May......very very strange Summer for sure. Electric bills are down.. We had more  rain than ever. Oh well suppose to be a brutal Winter according to the farmers Almanac... chriscat if you believe in it. Oh boy.

Thank GOD we had a pretty decent summer here.  Ok, we did turn the AC on in June and off for a week in July and have had it off for the last week, but we avoided the traditional 'jungle-like' conditions that we usually see here.  Of course, we spent a good chunk of the summer in areas other than the Chesapeake Bay, but it was still decent - even with the rain.
