Sunday Afternoon Falcon Watch – 4/6/14 – A Beautiful Spring Day!
By Rochester Falcon Watcher Carol P.
I was able to get out for a couple hours this afternoon to enjoy this beautiful spring day. My first stop was the BS location where I found no falcons.
When I arrived downtown, I parked on the Broad St Bridge. Dot.ca was on top of the Mercury statue and Beauty was inside the nest box.

Beauty came out of the nest box and flew over the river and in front of the OCSR. She landed on the base of the Mercury statue.

Dot.ca took off from the top of Mercury and flew down to Beauty. They copulated on the base of the Mercury statue.

Afterwards, Dot.ca flew up to the nest box and Beauty walked out of sight to the north side of the base of Mercury statue.

Kathy O and Dana joined me on the Broad St. Bridge. Dot.ca moved up to the ledge above the nest box on the Times Square Bldg.

So we continue to wait for Beauty to lay her first egg. 🙂 Goodnight everyone!
