Interesting...early activity at the nestbox. Male is hanging close to nestbox this morning.
6:55 Unity had the prey at on north corner of the platform, then she left.
7:24-7:27 Unity was in the nest box and the male on the north corner of the platform.
7:40 Unity returned to north corner of the platform.
7:44 Falcon on top of Cam 1 (not sure who).
7:51 Male back on north corner of the platform looking up again. Bet Unity is up above.
7:53 Male on perch outside nestbox.
7:53-7:54 Male on nestbox ledge, but did not step inside.
7:54-8:12 Male on Cam 4
This male is smitten with Unity and the Rochester location.

That's twice this morning Unity brought in prey - 6:55 and 9:44. Wonder if it was the same or two different catches? Is this courting behavior on the part of the female?

heh..well usually the male will bring the female 'food gifts' as part of the courtship and perhaps he did but that part was off cam. It's believed that this food gifting shows the female that he can and will provide for her and their offspring.
She will sometimes leave or share the leftovers with him as well. It's hard to get the whole picture on the cam sometimes.

Sometimes it is really hard to tell. Based on the size, I think it is Unity on the edge of the platform.
