Morning watch 9-6-13
By Rochester Falcon Watcher MAK
It was a chilly start to the day at 43 degrees (F) 6 (C) but it warmed up quick with bright sunshine prevailing
Unfortunately I lost all my pics and videos from this mornings watch. I started out with Beauty and then Dot.Ca (DC)on the HSBC building. She was eating on the northeast corner and he came flying in swooping on her twice. She finished eating and then they switched places with DC taking the northeast corner and the Beautyful one going down near the southeast corner. DC stooped twice coming back to the corner empty taloned and then he flew off to the southeast.
I left and checked the Hawkeye, Brighton and Blossom/Browncroft locations with no PEFA sightings.
Upon returning downtown I came across Beauty on the northeast cube of the Frontier Communications Tower. She zipped up to the northeast corner of the platform railing after a few minutes and flew north from there a few minutes later. I made another check of the Hawkeye site but did not see any juvies thus ending my watch at 9:30am. I’m not happy about losing my pics and videos but I’m still smiling for having seen our downtown couple today! 🙂

Oh no, MAK! I hope your camera is okay. So sorry!

It’s not my camera Pat-I’ve been having problems with Picassa where I upload my pics from my camera for a while now. I thought I had the problem taken care of but today it shut my puter down and when I finally got it back up and running my pics were gone. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again. 🙂

MAK, do you have an external hard drive? If so hopefully your pics are saved in there.
🙂

No external hard drive Ginny-I wish I had one. I have waaay too many pics to save on flashdrives-I gave up on that a long time ago. I didn’t have any problem tonight when I uploaded an RTH tonight so hopefully it was a one time thing. I really don’t have much computer savvy. 🙂

That’s too bad MAK….Even though I have one I always put my important pics on Shutterfly right away just in case. I am not familiar with Picassa but I do know that Shutterfly never deletes your photos like some sites do for lack of activity.

Ginny, I put my pics on Shutterfly after I edit them in Picassa. Never had a chance to do that cuz they were gone! 🙂
