Morning watch 10-26-14

By Rochester Falcon Watcher MAK

Back to gloomy overcast conditions this morning with temperature of 49 (F) 10 (C)

Truth is there isn’t really much to report today as I saw the back ofย  Dot.Ca for about 10 minutes. He was on the top ibeam of OCSR southeast side.

One of the times I was returning from the east side, I spotted a falcon on the base of Mercury-it appeared to be eating but when I got down to the hole to watch, it was gone. The rest of my 2 hour watch was spent in search of falcons. Nothing seen or heard at Hawkeye or Seneca Towers either before or after my downtown watch. Keep smiling folks! ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, it’s always nice to see our Dot anyway, and nice that he at least turned his head around for you!

That’s right Pat, at least DC came out to see us. ๐Ÿ™‚

    You’re welcome Terka! ๐Ÿ™‚

Nora, I debated whether to even write a report today. Glad I did-it’s always nice to hear from y’all! Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚

You’ve had some great luck, seeing all 4 of our Rochester PEFAs, MAK! You probably needed a down day after all the excitement of the possibility of another nesting pair at Hawkeye yesterday! hahaha! It would be so great if that happens! ๐Ÿ˜€

It is either feast or famine these days. Keep up the good work:-D

I must admit Patricia, that it was nice to not spend 3 hours on pics, videos and putting together a report. It was almost like a vacation day for me! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thanks Alison! ๐Ÿ™‚
