Morning watch 10-26-14
By Rochester Falcon Watcher MAK
Back to gloomy overcast conditions this morning with temperature of 49 (F) 10 (C)
Truth is there isn’t really much to report today as I saw the back ofย Dot.Ca for about 10 minutes. He was on the top ibeam of OCSR southeast side.
One of the times I was returning from the east side, I spotted a falcon on the base of Mercury-it appeared to be eating but when I got down to the hole to watch, it was gone. The rest of my 2 hour watch was spent in search of falcons. Nothing seen or heard at Hawkeye or Seneca Towers either before or after my downtown watch. Keep smiling folks! ๐

Well, it’s always nice to see our Dot anyway, and nice that he at least turned his head around for you!

That’s right Pat, at least DC came out to see us. ๐
You’re welcome Terka! ๐
Nora, I debated whether to even write a report today. Glad I did-it’s always nice to hear from y’all! Thanks! ๐

You’ve had some great luck, seeing all 4 of our Rochester PEFAs, MAK! You probably needed a down day after all the excitement of the possibility of another nesting pair at Hawkeye yesterday! hahaha! It would be so great if that happens! ๐

It is either feast or famine these days. Keep up the good work:-D

I must admit Patricia, that it was nice to not spend 3 hours on pics, videos and putting together a report. It was almost like a vacation day for me! ๐
Thanks Alison! ๐
