How excited was I to see Billie and 99 at Seneca Towers this morning to start my watch!? I hadn’t seen them in 5 days!! Billie was on the west side railing by herself at first and a minute later 99 came barreling in to land on the northwest corner pipe.

A few minutes later Billie stooped down into the river gorge and came back up to land on the northwest corner below 99.

A minute later she was off again and 99 followed suit too. Buffalo Billie came back landing on the west side railing again and 99 returned to his pipe. No catches were made as they kept looking for prey birds.

Billie took another shot down in the gorge and when she returned she decided the northwest corner of the railing was a good spot-it was also closer to her mate 99 who had a little slip and spread his wings to catch himself.

Around 8:10am 99 flew off past Billie who darted off after him. They didn’t come back so I left for downtown. It took 2 trips around downtown before I spotted Beauty on the northwest corner of the Kodak Office (KO) tower from Fitzhugh St. I drove down to State and Brown St. for a front view.

Around 8:40am Dot.ca (DC) flew in and landed on the northeast corner of the launchpad then quickly flew off and down to an antenna in the playpen.

Neither one of them had anything in their crops so they were looking to change that as they kept an eye out for a pigeon to fly out from a hiding place on the tower.

I had to get going but I left smiling at 9:15am after a 4 falcon morning watch! 🙂
