Morning Falcon Watch/Dot.ca eats at Brighton site 12-27-15
By Rochester Falcon Watcher MAK
Rainy, dark and overcast with a temperature of 50 (F) 10 (C)
I didn’t see Billie or Seth today at Seneca Towers. I searched around downtown and after not finding anybody there, I drove over to the Brighton Site (BS). On the northwest extension at the front of the building I spotted a falcon with its back to me. I took a trip around to see if there was any other falcons on the building and when I got back around to the front the falcon was eating.
This falcon looked a whole lot like Dot.ca (DC) and it ate with wreckless abandon like DC does as well. Thankfully, he turned around when he was finished eating and showed his black over black band and it vaguely looked like 13/Y which is his ID.
DC turned his back to me again so I left him to look for the Beautyful one downtown. I checked all of her usual spots and the last place I looked was the OCSR elevator shaft-I could barely make out the form of a big falcon on the north ledge thru the rain and darkness. She showed me her salmon colored front and then she feaked and turned her back to me, telling me she must have had a meal recently.
I left her to check the Medley Centre but I had no luck finding another PEFA on this day. I ended my watch at about 10am at a falcon-less Seneca Towers. Keep smiling everyone! 🙂

Spelled it wrong-The phrase “reckless abandon” typically is applied to actions that are, well, very active. DC always eats fast and furious Alison. 🙂
