Eyes to the Skies

Saturday Morning Falcon Watch (6:30 – 10:00 am) – 7/18/20

By Rochester Falcon Watcher Carol P.

Morning Falcon Watchers: Dana, Kathy O, Larry O & Carol P.

Weather: Warm with brilliant blue sky. Temps started in the 70’s, but are going up to 90 this afternoon. Tomorrow will be a very Hot, Hazy & Humid day; temps in the mid-90’s.

The morning watch was very Hope-Full! The only juvie seen this morning was Hope along with Beauty and Dot.ca. No sightings of Roc or Geraki.

Hope was eating on Widows Walk when we first found her. Dot.ca was watching her from above on the Times Square Bldg wing ring.

Hope was very busy keeping an eye on the pigeons below her on WW. Twice she stooped off and gave chase. I don’t believe she has been successful yet.

Beauty came in and she and Dot.ca visited the Times Square bldg nest box together.

Here are some pictures from the morning watch. Enjoy!

If those pigeons know what is good for them, they will stay put right where they are. Can’t stoop on a pigeon on a building 😀
