wnyfalconfan: Our 3 juveniles (Denali, Anders & Zephyrus) occasionally hang out at Times Square Bldg. Nova & Corazon are now bonding their relationship in the TSB nestbox. BUT... Denali thinks he owns the nestbox and chases the adults out of it.
Wandering Falcon: ST. Arrived just in time to see a food transfer overhead. The juvie took the food and is now eating. The adult, I believe it was Billie, soared overhead, then chased a small bird. The bird escaped the pursuit and the adult falcon flew SE. For such a short watch, it was very active!
Wandering Falcon: Just above the adult on the OCSR roof is a juvie. This juvie just laid down and if I hadn't seen him standing, I wouldn't have a clue he was there. It is very difficult to see a juvie, from the ground, when he's laying flat on top of a high roof. OK, time to go home for a nap. Ha! Just kidding!
Wandering Falcon: DT. There's one thing you should know about the falcon Watchers. When we say we're leaving, there's a 50/50 chance that we're not. I stopped on the ASB for a quick look and found an adult on the north side top Ibeam.
Wandering Falcon: DT. Time to end my Monday morning watch. Nova and Denali seen for sure. I believe Nova may be out on the JCT. The juvie chasing her may be somewhere on the TSB. I can hear him cry every now and then. Enjoy the day and keep cool everyone!
