Rfalconcam: This is Corazon's 1st year of brooding eggs and he does regularly stop in to offer Nova a break. Do they consider those visits changes even if Nova declines to get up? Who knows! But we can see that Corazon is an early bird! 2/2
Rfalconcam: We are having an interesting egg shift year so far! Over the years there has been a fairly consistent number of changes per day, but not necessarily how long each shift lasts. Over the past week they have switched less often than typical. Yesterday they were back to a more typical pattern. 1/2
Wandering Falcon: DT Falcon Watch. I believe that Corazon went into the nest box to check on Nova and the eggs. She wasn't ready to go, so he left, flying towards OCSR. Ending my watch. All quiet and peaceful!
Wandering Falcon: DT. Saturday morning Falcon Watch. Looks like there was a swich at 7:37 am. Corazon out, Nova in. As far as I can tell, she's still on the eggs. Can't find Corazon. Beautiful morning! Lots of water still flowing down the Genesee River.
Rfalconcam: Very odd! There are 8 individual posts-our cross-posting routine gets weird with reply type threads. At any rate, the whole post is now in one spot on our Imprints page! rfalconcam.com/imprinting/...
