Thank you.  Pure luck--but I'll take it.  I can use a little luck these days.

Put me down for May 5 and 2:30 PM--I don't think anyone has taken that time

Closer in to her body and immediately behind the eggs--right where the egg on the right and the middle egg meet.--Never mind.  I see what you're saying.  I thought you were talking about the foot that is probably some left overs.

Does that look like a broken piece of shell behind the three eggs--just down from her breast?  In the 19:59 picture.

Looks like she's listening to something!  Could be soon that we have little white fuzz balls.   Embarrassed

Thank you for the "Orville" piece.  I found it right away to the left of my doorstep.  Good going!  laugh
I don't mind at all sharing honors--especially when rules were bent to make it happen.
From one "Rule Bender" to another,
Thanks

After going back and seeing how seldom the eggs were left uncovered since #3 was laid, I'm beginning to think 3 eggs may be it for this year.  It seems like incubation has started.

If the male's hormones for mating drop after egg laying, what does that do to Pigott's chances?

I'm in.  I say Friday afternoon at 1:30 PM
13  Rochester Falcons / Rochester Falcon Discussion / Another Pigott Question on: 16-Apr-13, 08:18:14 PM
As I've looked at recent photos of Pigott, it doesn't look like she's close to laying any eggs to me.  Am I missing something?  An e-mail response will be fine if this info can't be posted.

I'm glad the BS potential scrape was boarded up.  I was concerned about any ayases that might hatch in that space.  I wish it could have been done earlier, before the action really began.  Hopefully Pigott will decide the cubby will work.

Cry  That's what I've been thinking.  I've been wondering if it may have already happened since no one has posted any pictures recently of Beauty at the NB and no falcons other than the one at BS have been located recently.  Darn I have to go home now so can't keep monitoring this site.  Just when I was hoping we'd have a fairly uneventful season with two successful scrapes.
