From Peregrine Place:
In a strange turn of events, the new Corpus Christi nest now has one egg. A new Canadian banded peregrine showed up recently at the nest site & was courting with an unbanded peregrine. It was identified by the Canadian Peregrine Foundation as a male, C/53, Kai, hatched at Etobicoke General in 2024. The mother is from Buffalo Statler, grandparents Ralphie & Alice. Great great descendant of Rochester Mariah & Kaver. An egg was recently laid at CC but by Kai & not the Noba! So Kai is a female, not male as originally banded. Strange things happen every year with Peregrines. Welcome Kai!
