THREE peregrine falcons have been shot in separate incidents. Two died, while one will be forced to spend the rest of its life in captivity. The birds, which are a protected species, were targeted in south Tipperary.
An endangered species, the peregrine falcon is protected under the Wildlife Act, making these killings a serious criminal act. Bird Watch Ireland is appealing for anyone with any information to contact it or the gardai.     That's it, the whole article!
