Years ago, we did a whale watch in Hawaii (on a larger boat than this though)!  2 male Humpbacks were following a female and her calf when they suddenly took an interest in our boat. Our Captain shut down the engine and the 2 whales spent 20 minutes going alongside, under our boat and surfacing on the other side repeatedly, getting close enough to touch, before going on their way. Very memorable!
