High Drama
These photos were captured on March 15th. They depict a confrontation between two falcons in the nestbox which lasted about an hour. It seems the intruder was finally driven out, but this may not be the end of it...

I don't like the fights, but it was a fascinating pictorial capture.  Just a guess, but I don't think either bird was going for the kill because 3 images clearly showed opportunity.

I hope it's over, I think they expect more. Boy they like to pin each other down and expose that chest area. Sad.

I saw a falcon fight in nestbox Heidelberg in last year (Aurora and Jetta).
It took several minutes. None of the falcons had to die.
