Shaky (or whoever might know) - are some of the "chatters" actually bots? I'm not very experienced with these things, but I've noticed that that happens sometimes in chats like that.

Yes, I think they are. It seems that during a period of inactivity some generic chats will be added to the social stream.

Ustream adds them. They appear in a different shade than those from real people.
