Doherty had no idea what had hit him. He wound up with several stitches and a gash that just missed his eye.

Yes, but read the story that is underneath the one that was posted. It seems that "authorities" went back in and caught the mother hawk, took the babh hawk from the nest. They released the mother into the wild and placed the chicks into a foster nest. The second article also states that "someone" was seen climbing the fire escape right before the hawk attacked. It further said that with Tufts U. graduation coming, they didn't want an "agitated" hawk around! What's wrong with this picture?

I did read the article beneath about the mother bird being relocated. One employee from Tufts said the jerk who got stitches had gone on the fire escape where mama bird was. She gave a warning peck first and he tried to "stare her down." Hence 15 stitches. It should have been 15 stitches and a fine. People commenting on this article, for the most part, thought it unfair that she was moved. That doesn't change the fact that this poor bird is now separated from her young

Especially since Tufts has a School of Veterinary Medicine!
Of course, if the dopey fools are out and about, both the birds and the school must be protected - the Hawks from the fools and Tufts from the LAWSUIT (that will be forthcoming) because the Fool wasn't protected from the Hawk! Don't you just love our PC World?

if this jerk gets money from being a donkey's butt then some one should sue him on behalf of the hawks and take it back off him.
