I had lots of fun on my day off Wednesday. It all began with a Red-tailed Hawk getting brunch in Irondequoit. Here's some pics. (Warning -This album may not be for those with a weak stomach)

And to fill my falcon fix for the day, here's some pics.

Dana - you out did yourself...all in one day - WOW! I can't believe the shots you caught. Great feeding documentary with the RTH, and the Merlin is precious.
Other than Wild Wings, I've never seen an urban Merlin. Is this an adult?

Spectacular shots, Dana, every one of them! The hawk/gull series was disconcerting but very beautiful. That red-tail must have been very hungry not to abandon his prey when people and cars stopped to watch.

Dot - I thought the RTH looked a bit skinny, so I'm glad for your observation.
