A search is underway for two adult men who jumped in Irondequoit Bay and haven’t been seen since.
The West Webster Fire Department tells News10NBC they received a call around 2 p.m. for the report of a possible drowning. When crews arrived, they found three children under the age of 10 in a boat. One of the children had called 911 from a cell phone that was on the boat.
News10NBC is told the group was tubing in the bay when there was in issue in the water and two adult males (between 20 and 30 years old) jumped in. They haven’t been seen since.
Scuba and marine units from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Coast Guard are currently conducting a search.
