CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Get a bird’s-eye view of the Queen City when author Susan Sachs Levine reads from her book “Harriett’s Homecoming” at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Main Library during storytime.

The book tells the story of a young peregrine falcon named Harriett who is rehabilitated and released from the top of the Carew Tower by a wildlife officer.  Listen to the story of Harriett as she searches for home and visits the many wonderful local sites, including the Cincinnati Museum Center, the Krohn Conservatory, Findlay Market, and even the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County’s famous “book fountain.”

Joining Ms. Levine will be a peregrine falcon and handler from the nonprofit organization Raptor Inc. The author will be signing books afterwards. The Friends of the Library Shop will be selling a limited number of books at the event.

Ms. Levine grew up in Western Hills, graduating from Oak Hills High School and later Miami University. She started her career in packaged goods marketing with Procter & Gamble and then moved on as VP of Marketing Affairs with SIG, an international packaging company. A wildlife enthusiast, she has traveled extensively to learn and study about endangered species. Now residing in Columbus, she is also the author of the book "Packard Takes Flight: A Bird's Eye View of Columbus, Ohio."
