Braddock Bay Raptor Research is pleased to bring you “Feathers in the Fall” a raptor photography session which will take place this year on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Braddock Bay Park in Greece, NY.

This event will give photographers of all ages and experience levels a chance to photograph 9 species of birds of prey in the beautiful outdoor setting of Braddock Bay Park.  At least one new species will be present this year – there will be 2 Barn Owls of differing plumage!  Flight demonstrations with Harris’s Hawks are also a possibility.  Bird handlers from the Institute for Environmental Learning (http://www.ielraptors.org) will guide you through the session sharing their knowledge of both raptors and nature photography.  Two sessions will be offered – 11:00 am-1:00 pm and 1:00 pm-3:00 pm. Space for each session is limited to 20 photographers. Pre-paid reservations are required. Donation requested is $60/photographer for non-members, $40 for BBRR members. (Membership information can be found on our website at http://www.bbrr.org/support). Light refreshments will be available and are included with registration. Funds raised from registration fees will benefit BBRR’s continued efforts in raptor conservation.

To register, send a check with a note regarding your choice of session to: Braddock Bay Raptor Research 185 Pond Road Honeoye Falls, NY 14472 You may also register online by going to the our website and using the DONATE button on the home page.  Just put a note in your form to let us know which session you wish to register for.

More information about this event, including a flyer for downloading, can be found on our website at http://www.bbrr.org/events/feathers-in-the-fall-photography-session. Please feel free to pass the word on.  Enjoy the upcoming fall season!
