A small dark bird suddenly flew out from under the porch at the Sterling Nature Center Visitor’s Center.
It perched briefly on a wooden rail at the entrance ramp, then flew up onto the edge of the roof, then to a ledge on the corner of the building, and finally back around the side of the building to perch on an old wooden implement.  (continued)

 wave  Nice article. When I stayed at my nephews farm(I call it paradise) I spotted a pair of Eastern Phoebes. I like them. Thanks Donna!    thumbsup clap
