I spent my morning today standing on the main drag in back of the house with the rest of the neighborhood waiting for a yellow bus.  Inside that bus were our wounded warriors (Iraq and Afgan Wars) on their way to a day of fishing  steff on Chesapeake Bay.  Might be a bit breezy, but it looks to be a good day for fishing.  These are the guys from Walter Reed in Washington, DC.  Police escort, our soliders, and of course, the motorcycles.  American Flags.  People pulling off the road to wave the flag and cheer.  Nice.  I took pictures and I hope to share them later.  Some of these guys might be missing a leg or two, but they are proving that won't stop them from fishing  steff or anything else.  Say a prayer of Thanks.

Bless them all! How can we possibly acknowledge their spirit and sacrifice... no matter what our attitudes towards these wars? Bring them - and us - peace.

Fish!  They want fish!  Unlike the osprey, they also want a good story to tell.   Wink

The real inspiration is that they aren't being stopped, and our lesson is just that.  Live life to the fullest - every day - don't let the aches and pains stop you.

PS????

I've noticed this on several of your posts. Did you forget to add your post script, or is it a personal message or insider joke?
