A Raccoon Dog is a wild canid native to Northern Asia.  It is only distantly related to dogs.  Trapped for its fur in China, it is the source of a lot of the fur from China that the Animal Rights industry calls "dog fur" when it's used on clothing.  It's not a dog.

Thanks Carol, I thought it was just another name for a Raccoon but the picture does not look like a Raccoon, similar.
