Little Egret Lives In Europe:

SCARBOROUGH, Maine -- Birders are flocking to the Scarborough Marsh area after the discovery of a European bird on Wednesday morning.

Doug Hitchcox was leading a monthly bird walk for the Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center around 7 a.m. when he said he spotted a Little Egret in the marsh. The bird is normally found in Europe.

The discovery has gotten the attention of birders and bird lovers, said Linda Woodward of the Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center.
