Never had a Peregrine right outside my window,but...I have had one on a neighbors TV antena. I walked out my side door, on my way to my fall Raptor Watch and saw a large bird of prey on the top of a neighbors home. Immediately I recognized it as a Peregrine Falcon. It was eating a Flicker. I began trying to get a band number, looking through my binoculars and taking photos like a mad thing. The lady of the house was first to notice me, followed by her husband. I explained and they said go for it! Eventually from photos,I saw he had blue tape and got his colour band. It was none other than Stormin, whose banding I had been to at the downtown Toronto Sheraton Hotel in 2009. He was 30/Y.
