It would seem to be worth the extra money and added effort of paying for certified organic birdseed and/or growing it yourself. If you wouldn’t eat industrial food yourself, you shouldn’t feed it to your feathered friends either I didn't know!!  Sad Scotts of all too! Guess organic it is! The numbers of deaths is outrageous 67 million a yr die from pesticides!!

Well thats just brilliant! And they ignored warnings given by their own staff! Any wonder pesticides are found in higher food chain birds/animals! The mind boggles! Wonder how much they sold relative to the fine they paid? It shoulda been at least double the amount they made by selling the tainted birdseed.
