Don't clean up your gardens until spring and if you have a real Christmas tree throw it out in the backyard for the winter when you're done with it-the birds will use it.  And more importantly try to garden without pesticides they go in the soil those earthworms are in-kinda like a rat eating poison and killing the raptor that consumed it!   Wink
