Want to try to be an extra in the Spider-Man movie scene in Rochester?
The scout team for the Spider-Man movie checked out Main Street Monday. And we have information on how you can try to be an extra in the high-speed chase scene.
About 25 people involved in the movie shoot huddled at the corner of Main and Exchange Streets this afternoon. They were checking the layout for the Spider-Man movie high-speed chase scene that is scheduled to be shot on Main Street the first couple of weeks of May.
If you are interested in trying to be an extra in the scene, you can send your name, a good photograph of yourself, contact information and the year, make and model of your car to
rochester@gwcnyc.com.
If you are interested in working as a production assistant, you can send your contact information to Karl Goldsmith(
kgoldsmith@visitrochester.com) at the Film Office and it will be forwarded to the Production Office. This is a good opportunity for area film students. No phone calls, resumes, attachments, bios, horoscopes, etc.
For more information, go to the Rochester Finger Lakes Film and Video Office's Facebook page.
