During the last exchange, I could see a tiny beak moving around inside the egg and when Beauty stepped over the eggs, she went beak to beak with the little one.

Yup, out of the shell at 3:20. Out my office window we see fly up a few minutes later. Mom tells him all about it, so he flies away to sit at the base of Mercury, where he's still sitting.

what she probably shouldn't do is get so carried away messing with that eggshell that she forgets what she's sitting on. That squeaky-toy sound is like an alarm: HEY! COOL IT!
