I can't even comment on what our "little girl" is doing with her wing here
edit-at least I'm pretty sure it's our girl with her wing tip on her...nether regions...

Looking at all of today's images, I'm struck by the fact that Beauty seems to be sticking so close to her chicks today. I know it's a horribly, cold, rainy day here, but it's kind of bittersweet to see the two chicks huddling so close together and mama bird right there for most of this day. Only last week when it was so hot, the chicks spent a great deal of time apart from each other and splayed across the pebbles. It's almost as if they know what's coming....and all too soon, the little ones will be fledging...

Not only small, but I hope he figures out to get out of Dodge pretty soon! I appears to have a more gentle feeding style (of course he hasn't been pooped on day and night)
