Is this a feature that is only available to the Administrators?  I ask because there is a gray message that says that I can't use it.  Just a question, not a complaint - don't want to get anyone in a tizzy.  Janet

Janet, yes, I believe that feature is for Mods and Admins. Like the MOD NOT on Yahoo, they can leave messages, notifications...etc!

Hi Janet, hi Donna,

yes indeed - the shout box is a means for us Admins and Mods to let you know about  important stuff (or to just say "Hi" to everybody).

Cheers

We can also make the Shout Box appear at the top of every page of the forum if people think that would be better than just on the main page.

I like it on the front page as it is - kind of like the announcements on the top of the Yahoo groups page.  But I'm flexible.  gum
