Ok I couldn't find a drum roll smiley.  But the new total is....

$1001.88  plus the $500 bonus.

Last year we raised $1200 plus a bonus. Surely we can break $1200 this year.

I just got home from work and checked my email.

I am the chosen ROCstar who designated Rfalconcam to receive $500!

Even though it was announced this afternoon, it had to be from early this morning. I have not donated since then.

Our plan worked!

Thanks to the generosity of our dedicated falcon followers, we raised over $1800 yesterday, including a $500 bonus earned by carrying out our clever plan to donate en masse between midnight and 2 am in order to increase our chances of winning those 2 hourly drawings.
