This seems really early. Anyone know when these Peregrines usually lay their eggs?

On the PG&E building in downtown San Francisco at 77 Beale St. The falcons are Dapper Dan and Diamond Lil. This is the same location formerly used by George and Gracie. The first egg was laid last year on March 8.

It's good to see Diamond Lil and Dapper Dan with their first egg. Hoping for a good year for them.

Welcome to the first egg in San Francisco, to parents Diamond Lil and Dapper Dan.
I checked my files, and last year Lil laid their first egg on 2.19.12, and in 2011 it was 2.24.11, so we are definitely getting earlier and earlier.
There has been a lot of courtship, bonding and mating activity at the San Jose nest box as well, so we are all on pins and needles about when that first egg might appear!

Looks like we've lost a parent here, been some fighting going on the past few days and lots of confusion but a new unbanded falcon just entered the scrape. I can't for sure sure who is lost Lil or Dan as they're still trying to figure it out but leaning towards Lil which means the eggs will likely be lost

I hadn't read the news there today but saw that there's been problems the past few days. That's so sad...
