Visitors in my garden
«
on:

Today I had some new visitors in my garden.
A pair of mallards.
The female was eating and the male was protecting the female by looking around and making a terrible noise when it was necessary. He also lay down for a moment.
greetings Aafke

Very nice Aafke....you have lots of visitors in your garden all Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Some bad visitors too!! Maybe the ducks will give you some babies soon.

Great pictures Aafke. Mallards are beautiful birds. I'm sorry I feel
the way I do about them. But I can't take away their handsomeness!

O yes, they will take over my whole garden!!!!
I think it will be possible (and nice) that they will have babies. It's a nice couple. For a few days I heard and saw them in the water behind my garden. The female has a lot of white so easy to recognize.

Lola, I
Mallards also, they are so Pretty. The only way I ever get to see them is if I find a pond or lake....other wise, I see more here.
