I found a Long-tailed Tit

Today I found a dead Long-tailed Tit.
I have no idea what happened with him.
Long-tailed Tits are such beautiful birds, they are very small with a very long tail. From a distance they look a bit pink.
Normally I see them in groups but I have a pair around my garden and I see them eating from the suetballs.
I felt very sorry to see this dead bird. And it will be very bad when it is one of my pair.
greetings Aafke

Perhaps this bird died of old age?
