Some late night pics:

She is so tired, but she is not allowed to rest.

She has not eaten, and Cadence has not left her in peace during the night.

This poor girl has been through far too much, and needs to be taken into care. She is so courageous, and I do not want to see her lose her life. It is obvious that she will not survive without help.  Sad

6.01 am and falcon perched outside with back to me, likely mom (for lack of a better name).  Eggs are not destroyed,, not sure why that lady posted that int he comments.  I can see them both this morning and could last nite as well after she said that, perhaps she was just upset.

6.19 am and mom sleeping with her head tucked into her wing.

6.32 am and she woke up and flew out.  No one else in sight that I can see on cam.

6.46 am and male is in and on eggs now.

I don't know why people were saying that about the eggs either, Carly. It seemed strange to me too.

Someone was incubating just a little while ago:

7.35 am and male just got up and ran out of box down ledge out of sight.  No one else in view on cams.

7.49 am and female just came in vocalizing and posturing.  Looks like peace is over.

7.50 she was looking up and just jumped up to ledge by nestbox and is facing outwards vocalizing.

7.53 and male back into igloo.  No one else in sight, female out of view.

7.56 and two females in air, aerial battle and one chasing other.  Female back on platform, male escaped.  Cadence in the air around building..mom jumped up to ledge..getting intense again.

I will post only if something happens now instead of play by play..  Stuff happening too fast.  I don't know how much longer these 2 can keep this up.

I won't watch, it's too hard for me! Cadence, as much as we all love her, needs to find a new home and new 1st  mate! So many out there.....where are the singles??? I wish all 3 well and yes, I agree with Alison, the female who is injured needs some care, she's weak but strong and is willing to do anything to protect her eggs. The male needs to get involved like DC did with Pigott!! Oh why did I have to fall in love with birds that battle brutal??  Sad

Are any watchers on the ground at the nest site?

I don't know Carol, I don't know much about this site to be honest.  I tuned in Friday night because some of the girls that follow it reported what was going on so I wanted to help out by watching.

I should also add that in the comments under the cams, it is the 'Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ' that is posting about what is going on and answering comments so I'm thinking they must have people there?  They've been responding to people who are asking questions about what is going on.

I didn't even know this site existed and I live here! I know Elizabeth is a rough area, not a place I'd like to go watch on a corner! It's near the Newark airport! You can see the planes on cam!! I got lost in Elizabeth once, never again!!

Nothing seen on cam for awhile now..so nothing to report.

9.17 am and both male and female arrive.  he's into the eggs, she jumps up to ledge and I see a large falcon in the distance fly off.  Male on eggs, female out of view so could be her that flew out.

I posted a photo under Rfalcon FB Cadence article that shows the top of this building where nest box is.  Chad from Ohio got it for me - it shows how close Cadence must have been to them last night when she was on the building.  Either on the poles or the railings that run between them.

(feel free to bring it over as I couldnt figure out to link it here properly)
