An alternative watching area

Just wanted to share some pictures I took this evening. Most of the pics were taken from Aqueduct Park, a small area that's only a few steps away from where we've been hanging out on the Broad Street bridge. It's one alternative to consider if the Broad Street bridge becomes difficult to watch from while the construction is going on.

The park looks like a good option!  I suspect that when the park is overrun with falcon watchers that the homeless guys will find another place to  .

It's across Main St. from First Federal Plaza (aka OCSR) and across the river from the Convention Center.  It can be accessed from Main St. or Graves St.

I placed a ? where I think the park is on my map.  If it's correct, I'll pick a better place marker...

Maybe just a little closer to the Mercury statue marker.  Good job with the map Ei.

PS Check out this Rochester Subway site. I came across it as I was looking for a good map of downtown Rochester. It's interesting that the subway might have run from Pittsford to Charlotte Beach.  After looking at some of the info here, I just can't help but feel that Rochester has gone backwards in may ways.

I like the modern map. It would need a Green line to get to the train station and swing southeast to the Eastman and Auditorium theaters, the museums, and then eventually turn north at Culver to head to Durand, Seabreeze, and finally across the Bay to Webster.
