Oh, no! It's a 4 footed falcon! Or...DC? I haven't seen him. Any other captions?

It's a UFO! aka Unidentifed Feather Object!
Not to worry. Beauty just went from the nest box to the top of Cam 4. That's her tail feathers. She's spending a lot of time in the box. Egg soon?

Storm clouds on the horizon behind Beauty! We're under a high wind warning this afternoon. 50-60 mph wind gusts.

Hi! I know it's been a while since I've posted. Watching the last few days. Is is possible there's a female intruder around today and the last few days? B's stance/vocals, DC staying at box.... Quick bonding sessions then B leaves for a bit. This is classic B in intruder mode... Her last vocalizations may be DC bringing in prey (1:50 ish ET), but seems like something else may be going on.
Don't mean to be a downer, I, too, think B is close to laying an egg. Just a very vulnerable time for her.
Really hoping it's nothing but a passerby.

I haven't seen any reports of anything odd, though watchers aren't downtown as often this time of year. Hopefully it's just the nasty weather approaching.
P.S. good to see you!

hi NCA ... good to see you again.
I've been keeping an eye out daily and I haven't seen anything to indicate an 'serious' intruder. She's relaxed, she's preening - things she wouldn't be doing if there was a real threat. Are there migrating birds / floaters passing through? Sure it's that time of year so there could very well be some posturing at the nest boxes just to show them this house is taken, move along
DC being around more is likely because he's not doing double duty this year and he's impatient for eggs.
ps: I should add that's all I hope it is anyway. After all, I can't see beyond the perimeters of the cameras.
